COMPOSITE SPRING

The proposed concept is to use the solicitation in traction and compression as mode of deformation to obtain a displacement operable to a spring function.

This method of solicitation is available in deformable lattice.

This mode is particularly suitable for realization mode in composite, because the establishment of unidirectional fibers is particularly adapted to the compression or tensile stress.

The concept optimizes the loading mode and the use of unidirectional fiber composites.

The spring is formed by winding the carbon fibers oriented along the axis of stress in all segments of the lattice.

Pure tensile stress-compression is consistent with the unique performance composites used exclusively in their unidirectional version.
